Tuesday Night FB!

I love these night games but my camera does not. Ugh! Got a few. We played another Centennial team and came away with another win! Good Job Panthers!
Coach Daddy and Dawson! Uncle Drew brought the boys to watch a game tonight! They weren't quite prepped for the cooler weather and got pretty cold!

Dawson with the "almost" tackle! So close!

Dave was LOVING this win tonight!

National Eagle Center

Dave found some information on the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN so we decided to head down today. It was over an hour drive (past Red Wing) so the kids sort of balked about it, but they ended up having a GREAT day! There are eagles and hawks that have been injured that reside here since they cannot live in the wild with their injuries. It was very interesting to learn all about these majestic birds! Even though they are so big, they typically weigh about 10 lbs (give or take and the females are larger than the males!).
Looking at some birds (taxidermy ones!) and standing in an actual eagles nest!
This eagle in the background started squawking (hence Reese's hands towards her face as it was quite loud) because he saw another eagle outside in the distance!

IT was also Wabasha's Fall Festival so there were activities set up around downtown. It was such a great weather day also for late September!

Watching the kids on these bouncers was hilarious! Reese got a little frustrated towards the end and just pick up her bouncer and walked (sulked maybe) to the finish line!

Carter & Dawson were racing and I guess Dawson decided that it was too much work to bounce, so he just picked his bouncer up and started to run towards the finish line to try and beat Carter!

On the way home we stopped at the beautiful Lake Pepin! The kids wanted to walk out on this "catwalk" type thing - ugh, my heart was racing! I don't like these types of things!
Can't go to a BIG lake without chucking some rocks back into it!

Look, Mom WAS here too! Nothing like a good old selfie!

What a gorgeous view! So glad we did this day trip!
