Jumping Babies! Chubby baby legs!

I borrowed a jumper from one of the neighborhood daycare moms since I know they won't last too long in it anyways! They loved it the first day! Asher's face was like this the whole time he was jumping. So happy to be moving around!
Love Asher's chubby "little" legs!
Taking their photo like this is way easier. For some reason I can get them both looking at me. I also knew that Cooper and Reese would enjoy playing with the babies in the jumper!

I love this photo of Cam! She is so intent on looking at all that is around her!
Love those baby toes, Camdyn! Trying to feed these 2 together is crazy. Cam is getting pretty good at holding her bottle but Ash still needs help! This is about how it goes when they are here.
It was so nice out so we broke out the sand table for the first time! Good thing the sand wasn't frozen still. They wanted water added to the table but I am not quite ready for that yet!

Painted sky

Whenever there is a beautiful sunrise or sunset, we say that Gramps "painted the sky for us!" That he did this morning, the day after we celebrated him!

One Year of missing my dad

Tonight we remembered Gramps. We looked at photos. We had twinkies and Yellow cupcakes. We remembered and talked about him. I cannot believe that it has been a year already. 365 days since we last saw him (more for the kids as they had not seen him for a while). He lives on in all of us. Part of him, in us either by his looks or his mannerisms, or the small things that the kids remember & talk about him. Love and miss you more!
The boys - one of the oldest of grandpa's grandsons with the 2 youngest!
Easter is soon, so I took out an Easter craft for the kids to do and to keep them busy. As usual, Reese wants to hold the baby - Nico (even despite all the drool & burp-up he produces!)!
Unfortunately, Carter was missing but we grabbed his photo (from 4 years ago!) so that he was included!
Biggest Granddaughter with littlest granddaughter! I love how Cam is looking at Teagan!
Nico and the girls!
Milk-coma!
Sweet Princess Camdyn
Looking at old photos & reminiscing!
Auntie Heather is explaining who people are in the photos!

Yellow (dad's favorite color!) cupcakes and twinkies!

When we went through dad's stuff the day after he died, these were in his closet. Never worn. But perfect for Uncle Joe! So glad to see him on his feet tonight!
Carter got home and was able to enjoy the party at the end!

North Heights Easter Play

North Heights Church is known but many people, not because they all go to church there, but because of the plays that they put on.  This church is huge.  It looks more like an auditorium than a church, that is how big it is.  I think you could get lost.

Anyway, I knew that Bella was in the play.  She sent home a flyer with the kids a few weeks ago.  Then, I just forgot about it.  The day of the play, Emma sent me a text saying that Bella had gotten 3 free tickets and thought about Kendall, since she had told Bella she wanted to go.  So, the girls and I got ready and headed out to the show after dinner.

It is truly an amazing play.  Obviously, you know the story.  It was all about the story of Easter and Jesus.  Reese has learned quite a bit in school and I love that aspect of a Christian or religious school. I like that they can pretty much do all the stuff that the SLP district can't anymore.  The girls really enjoyed the play.  I did have to tell Jesus after the play though, that Reese was a little concerned that he was really dying when he was on cross.  Then, she realized that wasn't the case.  Yes, Jesus died, but the Jesus up there on the cross is NOT the real one.  He is just someone acting as Jesus.

At the end of the show, for some reason, I got all emotional.  It is a good thing that it was semi-dark at that point still and that we were in the back of the church.  I could not control my tears.  With the 1 year anniversary of dad tomorrow morning, I just lost it.  I could not stop crying for quite sometime.

Thought I took a photo of the girls but it is currently MIA!

Fundraising...

The boys are both selling these cards for baseball. Carter for the HS and Dawson for Soderville. It is a little harder to sell Dawson's (the card with 16 cards on it) because some of those are in Ham Lake, since that is where Soderville BB is mostly played. Our neighborhood is getting inundated with these cards - what was once a good fundraiser is getting to be a little crazy! Yesterday, I spent 6 hours with Carter and Geno driving around the neighborhood. Carter sold quite a few! Only like 7 more cards for him to sell (he sold 13 so far!). Next weekend he gets to go out again, but I am not driving this time!

Glorious Sunrise!

Thousands of Reasons
By Doe Zantamata
If every morning you can find a reason to say
"yes it is going to be a beautiful day."
And every day, you find a reason to say
"Yes, it is a beautiful day."
And every night you find a reason to say
"Yes it was a beautiful day!
then, one day you'll look back and easily say
"Yes, it was a beautiful LIFE!"

Dawson got his glasses! Great picture, DJ! Now lets see if we can get him to wear them!

Como Zoo with Jen & Tanner

It was a great day for a trip to the Zoo! We brought Auntie Jen along since she has been a little on the down-side lately! We try to get to the zoo at least a few times a year. I just love this place. I love some of the improvements that they have done on the grounds. No more bears in cement cages along the wall!
The Primate area - my FAVORITE! I have always loved this area of the zoo. It is even better now that the gorillas have a new area. Man, these gorillas are just HUGE!

I cannot recall when the cougar was this close to the wire. Most of the time it is sleeping. To see it pacing along the top and then come down, so close!
The kids had a blast watching the Polar bear swim back and forth, back and forth. They are so BIG! Jen brought Tanner over to see the bear swimming and he was not too sure of it. He pretty much gave her the chokehold and wanted to go "back up!"

Tanner and his giraffe watching the newest baby giraffe and its parents!
There is this spin-y wishing well like money thing in the front. Auntie Jen gave the kids some coins (I did not have any!) and they were having fun watching them go down the tunnel. When Tanner dropped his down, I think he thought he could get it back. He was NOT happy when it went down the hole, and the zoo got to keep it!
A little spring training happening @ Coleman field in Blaine!
Reese running from Kendall & Max - Bella chasing after DJ with Sydney watching on!
