Carter's first OUT! Boston is SIX!

Carter got his first out today and I missed it!  :( They lost but at least he got an out for the 1st time!

Today is Boston's SIXTH birthday! Happy birthday to you, Boston! We love you!

Beautiful Sunset

Saw this little guy on the edge of the pond.

The sunset is so pretty and this is the view of the other side - the moon coming out and the clouds streaking through the sky.

I know that the glare in this photo is just an issue with my camera...but, I also say that it is my dad checking in on us!

Carter - base on balls!

CJ got his first walk (2nd time on base this year!) tonight.  Wasn't a good game... but he also ended up scoring on a hit by Jack - their only point in their 1-15 loss to Anoka!
Plus, the ump was not very good. John hit a foul ball, it hit the plate (as you can see the dust & bouncing ball in the pix), the catcher caught it, and the ump called John out. I told the ump that I had proof that it hit the plate - he sort of just laugh & said you have a picture, huh!? Ugh!

Somehow Carter made it past the 2nd baseman! I don't know how, but he did!

Fort Fun! Uncle T's BD!

The kids have been playing survival outside. It was so nice out today so they built a survival fort. It keeps them so busy and they love it!

Then, we went over to Nana & Pop-Pop's to celebrate Uncle Tommy's birthday.  Look at how big the babies are getting. Oh, they are going to be such good friends when they are older. Happy birthday Uncle Tommy!

The day ended with a friendly game of duck, duck, grey duck. I love how Teagan is playing with them. The kids love her and I love that she is so good with them! You are growing into such a great young lady, Teagan! I love how Cooper is laughing and throwing his head back in the one photo! Such proof that they were having such a fun time!

The sunset on the way home was so pretty. This is on Hwy 14 in Hugo. The reflection over the pond is stunning.

Once we got to Centerville I pulled off the side road so that we could soak in the beauty. 

Something happened to make Reese upset. It is very apparent in this photo!

Dawson - you crack us up!

for some reason DJ and RC love to crawl into our bed in the middle of the night.  Carter and Kendall were never like this.  They would occassionally, but Dawson and Reese are pretty consistent.  Tonight, about 1:30AM Dawson came in our room.  Typically he scares us because he just stands there... saying nothing.  I told him no crawling in our bed but daddy let him crawl him by him, at the edge of the bed.  Dawson, without skipping a beat says:
"I want you to know that if I fall out of the bed it is your fault!"

to which daddy and I start cracking up - and cannot stop laughing.  But, I stop for just long enough to say:
"you're the one crawling into bed with us, if you fall out it is your fault!"

I think we laughed for a few minutes after that and daddy didn't last long in the bed after that.  You and Reese are almost impossible to sleep with - kicking, hitting, blowing in our faces (because you like "sigh" in your sleep).

Another week of daycare!

Cooper and Reese have so much fun when they are together. They really play nicely & since the babies are here and keep me busy, it is great that they do! They wanted to play with playdoh today - I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with playdoh. Love it because they love it and it keeps them busy. Hate it for the mess that it makes!

KC 1st Softball Practice!

Coach Jim called on Sunday - Monday was supposed to be cold and possibly raining, so they are just going to have the 1st practice tonight! She is excited to playing again this year, and there should be a handful of kids back on the team that played last year! :) Go PEZ!

DJ stitches out!

Dawson was pretty nervous to have his stitches out. I told him we were just going to go to the Target Clinic (I am sure the stitches will be super expensive!) and get them removed. Luckily, our "guy" Paul was at the clinic so I think that made Dawson more comfortable. The stitches were out in a matter of minutes and we were on our way. He told Dawson to keep in clean & make sure to wear some sunscreen on it for about the next year. It is so nicely healed that you can't even tell he had stitches there.

Carter's Game!

Carter got on base for the 1st time in his HS baseball career tonight!  I also think that it was his first time in baseball to get on base because of a dropped 3rd strike by the catcher!  Unfortunately he was a little excited and tried to steal 2nd base (without a signal from the coach) and got out, ending the game.  But he was excited that he got on base!
