MN Zoo with the Greene's! Beautiful Sunset

Jamie got some free tickets again so they asked if we wanted to join them today. It was a great day to go to the MN zoo with cousins! Who doesn't love to climb on the wolves in the front! Every time!

It was hot. The water was cold. Then, kids were WET!

As you can tell, Asher did NOT care for the COLD water!

This penguin was dancing with Kendall - totally following her finger. It was so funny to watch!

This little bird was not too afraid of Boston or Reese! They were able to walk right next to it!

These guys and gals are my absolute favorite! The babies were so darn adorable! I could watch them all day long!

The sunset was so incredible tonight. If I would have been outside a few minutes earlier it probably would have been even better (or, if the trees were a bit shorter!). One of these days, I will actually figure out this camera. I know that I am not using it to its full potential. Different settings cause the photos to look totally different. 

FIFTEEN!

Carter is FIFTEEN today! We just hung around in the morning and then I decided to take the kids to Grand Slam and use some more of the gift certificate that Carter won from Dr. Montgomery's office last fall.

Carter wanted to go into the baseball cage 1st. he put his token in the unit and starting batting. And kept batting. And batting. And batting. the thin would not shut off. He actually started to get tired and left the cage while the balls were still coming out.

Kendall went in the cage and the balls started to accumlate on the ground in front of her.  I told her to watch the machine while she hit the balls down the track. While she was doing that, unfortunately she got hit by one of the balls coming out of the machine! Right in her thigh! Oh, the tears. But she did great hitting in there!

Dawson had fun going in the 30MPH cage. He did good. He tried the slower cage too, 20MPH but like the little bit faster cage instead.

Carter hit the JACKPOT, 250 tickets! Wahoo! Happy 15th!
